Shipping policy
Where we ship
New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. If you are outside those three states, call us on 609-439-2910 before ordering — we can often arrange it, but it needs a quote rather than a checkout button.
What shipping costs
Freight is charged at cost and shown at checkout before you pay:
- $950 on every model except the G11.
- $1,990 on the SaunaLife G11, which needs a larger truck.
We do not mark freight up. That figure is what the carrier charges to bring the sauna from SaunaLife to your address, passed straight through.
Lead time
These are not stocked in a local warehouse — they ship from the distributor, and transit is measured in weeks rather than days. We confirm the expected timeline with you when the order is placed, and we tell you if it changes. We would rather give you a real date late than an optimistic one early.
How delivery works
Every sauna ships by freight on a scheduled appointment. The carrier contacts you to arrange it — somebody needs to be there.
Most models arrive curbside. The driver lowers the crate to the ground at the kerb and that is where their responsibility ends. Moving it to where the sauna will live is yours to arrange, or ask us and we will quote it.
Three models require you to off-load with a forklift or crane: the G11, the CL12GCP and the G3. These ship on a flatbed and the driver will not lift them off the truck. Please talk to us before ordering one of these so we can plan it together — this is the single most common way a sauna delivery goes wrong.
When $950 is not the final number
The flat rate covers normal deliveries. A small number of addresses do not qualify — long private drives, difficult access, islands, or anywhere a standard freight truck cannot reasonably get to. SaunaLife contact us before shipping when they spot one of these, and additional delivery costs can apply.
A heater ordered with your sauna ships with it. It travels on the same freight and the flat rate above covers both — there is nothing extra to pay. This is the normal case, and it is the cheapest way to buy a heater from us.
A heater or stones ordered on their own is a separate shipment, and carries its own freight rather than the flat rate. The distributor's published ranges for the lower 48 are $98 to $198 for a wall-mounted heater with stones and controls, $290 to $495 for a floor-standing stove, and $25 to $50 per box for stones alone. We quote you the exact figure before you pay anything, and like the sauna freight it is passed through at cost.
If that happens on your order, we tell you the number and you decide. It is quoted before anything ships, and if you would rather not go ahead we cancel and refund you in full. We will not quietly add a charge after you have paid.
Before delivery day, check
- That a truck can physically reach your property, and that there is somewhere to put a crate.
- That the route from the drop point to the final position is wide enough and firm enough.
- That you have the equipment and help you need, especially for the three models above.
Inspect it before the driver leaves
Look the crate over and note any damage on the bill of lading before you sign. Signing clean makes a freight claim very difficult. Then open and check the contents within 5 business days, photograph anything wrong, and tell us. Full detail is in our return and refund policy.
What is not included
- Assembly is optional and quoted separately. You can also build it yourself with us on the phone.
- Heaters are chosen separately. Ordered alongside your sauna they ship with it at no extra freight; ordered on their own they carry their own shipping. We supply HUUM and Harvia.
- Electrical work is billed to you by a licensed electrician. We will help line one up or work with yours.
